Photographic Archive of Stanisław Brzozowski

The collection consists of over 1,500 items. Its author, Stanisław Brzozowski, was the founder of the first photo shop in Warsaw opened before World War I. As a great theatre lover, Brzozowski photo-documented premiere plays. His collection contains over a dozen reproductions of plays performed in Warsaw in 1930’s. A major part of the collection documents the theatre life of Łódź in 1945 - 1952 and contains portraits of the actors and actresses.
